WHAT IS UCEED?
The Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) is conducted by IIT Bombay for admission to the B.Des programs at premier institutes like IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, and IIITDM Jabalpur. UCEED tests design aptitude, creativity, and analytical skills for future designers.

OBJECTIVE
Includes NAT (Numerical Answer Type), MSQ (Multiple Select), and MCQ (Multiple Choice) questions to test visualization, logical reasoning, observation, and environmental awareness.

Offline drawing test to evaluate creativity, perspective, composition, and visual storytelling.
ELIGIBILITY for UCEED >
B.Design
Students who have passed or are appearing in 10+2 (any stream).
Candidates must be born on or after October 1, 2004 (General/OBC-NCL); 5-year relaxation for SC/ST/PwD.

Do I need to be from a science background to apply?
No. Students from any stream (Science, Commerce, or Arts) in 10+2 are eligible.
Is UCEED only for IITs?
Primarily yes, but many other private and public institutes also accept UCEED scores for B.Des admissions.
Is drawing necessary for UCEED?
Yes. Part B of the exam evaluates your drawing and visual communication skills.
